My music video is a perfect fit into the 'Rock' genre. It is a very fast paced, quick cutting song. We followed the basic conventions of a music video; for example cutting on the beat and lip synching. However aswell as this we added certain effects like the 'earthquake' effect to make the video seem even faster and give it a stronger 'jolty' 'shakey' feel (as shown below). We also darkened the shots of the whole band sequence as they came out a pinky colour. We did this so the shots didn't seem so bright and typical of the 'pop' genre.
